shloka 3rd:   पश्यैतां पाण्डुपुत्राणामाचार्य महतीं चमुम्। व्यूधां द्रुपदपुत्रेण तव शिष्येण धीमता।।   Paśyaitāṁ Pāṇḍuputrāṇām āchārya mahatīṁ chamum | Vidyudhāṁ Drupadaputreṇa tava śiṣyeṇa dhīmatā || explanation : Duryodhan says to Guru Drona, “See the vast army of the Pandavas, created by your clever student Drushtadyumna, the son of Drupad.” Drupad was the father of Draupadi, the wife of the Pandavas, and Drushtadyumna was born as a blessing obtained by Drupad after performing a great yagya. The reason for this yagya (chanting of mantras to seek blessings of deities) was the political conflict between Drupad and Guru Drona. From this yagya, Drushtadyumna was born, destined to become the  reason for Drona’s death on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. Those who survived the battle emerged with true dharma in their hearts, having demonstrated their inner virtue through the crucible of conflict. Dhritarashtra, who was the father of the Kauravas, was not only blind by sight but also blind to righteousness. In his attachment to his sons, he supported adharma (unrighteousness) and thus became the cause of the fall of the Kuru dynasty. In the above shloka Dhritarashtra asked Sanjaya, "O Sanjaya, what have done by my sons and the sons of Pandu, who have gathered at Kurukshetra with the desire for war". Sanjaya, who had divine vision, could see the events occurring on the battlefield while sea...
